Kiinde foodii snack spout is essential to getting the missing nutrients into my almost 3 yr old toddler. We’ve been using probably the whole line up from Kiinde since he was born and this is our favorite right now since he can’t chew it up. I basically take everything I wish to give him, which ends up looking like a giant bowl of salad that includes kale and carrots along with nuts and seeds, and blend into things that can mask the main event, like banana, strawberry, or avocado. Pour them into those pouches and I tell him it’s ice cream. Not having had much real ice cream, he believes me and eats everything. Pandemic toddler, hehehe, we don’t get out much. We have several variety of kiinde pouches to go at any given time. I keep the original blue cap on until we take one out to eat it. Ever since teething, even though we are far past that, he still chews on chewy mouth pieces like their straws and spoon system. But this one is hard plastic, so he never chews it and is the last man standing. So far it looks like we can continue to use this one for a long time. It’s opening is big enough that if something isn’t perfectly puréed, it mostly comes through. It also means that if he plays around or drops it, it spills out. It comes with a green cap so you can keep the mouth piece clean when taking outside. I usually take the pouch frozen on the go, and squish/melt it when we need it. Beats having to carry an ice box. The only thing you have to watch out for is to not toss the spout when throwing out the empty pouch. We love these pouch spouts! I wanted to use the extra Kiinde bags I had leftover from breastfeeding. My kids love the pouches you buy in the grocery store but we never get them because they're expensive. I decided to give these spouts a try so I can make them healthy pouches for on the go. I was a little nervous if a thick smoothie or yogurt would work in them and it does! I blend up frozen fruit, yogurt, oats, spinach, flaxseed and milk and they work perfectly. The spout is large enough for a thick smoothie or even yogurt. But if there are chunks it would clog the spout. The only thing I can say is that the spout is somewhat heavy so if you set the pouch down when it's less than half or a third full, the top can flop down and drip. And yes, your child will need to be able to hold it upright and steady because it will spill out fast since the spout is so large. We did have a few large spills in the beginning but my kids (3 and 5) do great with them now. They are very easy to clean, I just make sure to clean them as soon as I can, and I do reuse the pouches. I just rinse them out and dry them. This way I can get a good few uses out of each one. We're very happy with these and thankful to be able to make healthy pouches for cheap for the kids!So I thought they were gonna have something inside so the food wouldn't drip out. Well I also bought ChooMee tips for pouches to. And they fit perfectly on the kiinde snack spouts. So it worked out. Calling that a babysitter\mom win :)These are so convenient for making you own baby food. The only problem I have is they never spin on right, it always feels kind of loose and crooked. There is always a bit of food that can't get eaten too, because of such a wide/tall neck on the pouchThese have been amazing for my kiinde bags full of homemade meals. I don't make special meals for my son, I just use less salt and spice in the family meals. Then I blend up some food with enough water or broth to make it squeezable. Fill up my kiinde bags and freeze. These attachments make the whole thing possible. I take frozen bags of food on vacation, to restaurants, on a picnic. They just make motherhood a little easier so I'm not trying to feed solids to a distracted baby. Solids work at home in a controlled and familiar environment. The spout is twice as big as the food pouches that you buy in the stores, my daughter wears more than she gets in her mouth.I love Kiinde since I was an exclusive pumper and had to pump breastmilk for 5 months. I built a freezer stash for my son and he was able to have breastmilk until 8 months. The entire system made it comvenient and easy. My husband loved it as well! Now that he is 1, I am trying to see what I can do with the rest of the pouches I have left. He has learned how to use ready to eat pouches lately (he eats table food fine and loves to feed himself so he didn't like pouches at first since it didn't have texture.).My son loves fresh fruits but hates cow milk so smoothies are a no brainer. He drinks them off straw cups just fine. However, with this spout, he rejects them. The spout is too big and he has a hard time sealing his mouth around it to suck. It is messy and as soon as I give it to him, the pouch explodes since one squeeze would have smoothies flow out, no matter how thick it is, so you can't fill the pouch to the brim. In the end, it is less straw like and literally functions like a smaller hole where one can squeeze stuff through, but not suck. The shape and size isn't conducive to creating the seal and suction needed for sucking. My son has already ruined the box it came with and it is not worth to return a low priced item. It's sadly a poorly executed item.Pretty good. It's a little harder to get everything out compared to the pouches you get from the store. But using these is a really nice option if you make your own food. Fits into the bottle casing too so they don't squeeze it everywhere as easily.Estas bolsas son muy prácticas para llevar la papilla. Las boquillas facilitan mucho el que mi bebe pueda comerlas solo.Muy practico!
