I've purchased olive wood while in Italy and France, imported pieces in the US and have bought it on the internet as well.Obviously in person you can choose the pieces you prefer. Safe to say I have 50+ and have given countless pieces as gifts.These small bowls are lovely and both of the ones I received have wonderful graining and are very high-quality. One has great bark edging and one has more of a chiseled edging but they are both gorgeous!Please read the dimensions before purchasing...olive wood is expensive and these bowls are exactly the size described.I will buy these again...Always remember to condition your olive wood with food-grade mineral oil...olive oil works if you use your pieces regularly, but it can get sticky if left unused for a while.And please...never put them in the dishwasher or soak them!(My dad was a wood worker. I learned from the best!)
